About Us:

Whimsy on a Wire is a home-based small business that my husband and I launched in the spring of 2002.  As a stay-at-home mom, I simply desired a creative outlet, and I began making jewelry as a hobby to satisfy this desire. The business was actually conceived in the spring of 2002 in an effort to help defray some of the expenses of a foreign adoption.  In July 2003 our dreams were realized and we traveled to China to adopt the newest member of the Davidson family, baby Grace!  We’ve enjoyed the business so much that we’ve decided to continue designing new jewelry pieces, attending outdoor art shows and offering home shows.  In fact, we've been so blessed by the whole experience that we're now in the midst of applying for our second Chinese adoption, and plan on returning to China in the summer of 2005! I hope that you enjoy my jewelry designs as much as I have enjoyed bringing them to you.
